IV Song (Liberty LST 11003). During the 10-year period beginning
1965, Dennis Yost, the voice of The Classics IV, had 16 consecutive chart
singles. He has never recorded a single that didnt make the charts. The
Classics IV were also given credit for beginning what was known as the Southern
Boogie sound, or as its now referred to as Soft Rock. His gold records include: Spooky, Stormy, Traces (of love) and Every Day With You Girl. Song was the 4th album from Classics IV with 12 cuts, including three chart hits, Midnight, Funniest Thing, and Where Did All the Goodtimes Go. Other cuts include Nobody Loves You But Me, God Knows I Loved Her, Aint It the Truth, Pick Up the Pieces, Cherryhill Park, We Miss You, Most of All, and The Comic. |
